This is Rachel’s fourth year as a coach for Westmoreland Elite but has been coaching for eight years. She began playing volleyball in 5th grade. In high school at Plum Borough, Rachel was a freshman on the varsity team that won the Section Title in 2011. While in high school, she played club volleyball for Keystone Volleyball Club. She then continued with her passion for the game and received a scholarship to play at the Division II level at Seton Hill University. During her senior season at Seton Hill, the team won the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship Title, as well as, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Southwest Regional Champion Title. Rachel studied Early Childhood Education and Special Education at Seton Hill and was able to coach for four years with Keystone Volleyball Club. Post-college graduation, she had the privilege to return to Plum Borough as the assistant coach on the high school and middle school volleyball teams. Rachel just recently accepted the head coaching job at Plum! This will be her fourth year coaching at Plum.
Rachel is currently a first grade teacher at a private school. Rachel is looking forward to another successful club volleyball season at Westmoreland Elite!
