Coach Gene moved to the Pittsburgh area to play volleyball at The University of Pittsburgh and never left. He has been playing and coaching volleyball for 40+ years and has been with Westmoreland Elite for 10 years. Gene is currently the head coach at Trinity Christian School. Additionally, he coached a local group of home schooled players for 23 years. He is available for private lessons.
His coaching career includes coaching both boys and girls in California and Pennsylvania at the junior high, high school, and club levels. He has coached numerous All-District, All-State and All-American players, including one player who advanced to the professional ranks. Gene also played on and coached teams that won Gold medals at the Keystone State Games.
Gene and his wife Linda currently reside in Penn Hills where they raised their 6 children.
