Coach Lewis is new to Westmoreland Elite, but not new to coaching. She started coaching at the turn of the century as an assistant volleyball coach at Ringgold, middle school softball coach, and ascene assistant at SWPA volleyball club. Then was asked to be the head coach at Belle Vernon, where she coached the girls' and boys' teams for over a decade. She resigned to start coaching her daughter's softball and basketball rec teams, and has led her Girl Scout Troop for twelve years.
She is a graduate of Ringgold High School where she was involved in volleyball, basketball, and softball. During high school, she received all-section honors and her teams won section championships. After high school, Coach Lewis attended the University of Pittsburgh and played softball. During college, she also ran the volleyball intramural program for three years.
Coach Lewis has still been in the volleyball scene, following her daughter's high school and club teams for the last 5 years, but returned to the volleyball coaching platform last year as the Ringgold Middle School 8th grade coach.
Coach Lewis is in her 23rd year of teaching at Ringgold. She lives in Monongahela with her husband, Dan, and their two children, Riley and Reagan.
