Coach Greg Lockley, a graduate/player of Peabody High (84), University of Pittsburgh, (89) started coaching immediately after his college career in 1990. Coaching at several high schools. He joined the coaching staff at Chatham University in 1994 as an Assistant Coach and became Head Coach in 1998. Once becoming the Cougars Head Coach, he led the volleyball team to three NCAA, AWCC Championships and the university’s 1st ever appearance in the NCAA Division III National Tournament.  He was also named Coach of the Year in 1998 &1999.  He was the first coach in Chatham University history of athletics to accumulate 100+ wins.

Coach Lockley has been a high school and Junior Olympic coach for girls and boys and at several area high schools and clubs.  Attended several USA and National coaching conventions. Previously, Director for the KRVA, USA High Performance Program.   Coach Lockley has over 30 years of volleyball exposure and experience.

Currently: Director of Progressive Sports Training and Camps; Co-Director/Director of Coaches for Westmoreland Elite Volleyball Club.    Head Coach, Gateway High School Boys’ Volleyball Teams.  USAV Volleyball Player/Member, NIKE Volleyball Camp Instructor; Certified NCAA, PAVO Official, Certified PIAA State Official, Certified USAV Junior National Official.
